FAQ

The cost of your skin surgery will be partly covered by Medicare but you will be required to pay a procedure fee which will be an out of pocket cost for you. Skin lesion removal fees are a once off and you won’t be charged anything out of pocket (with the exclusion of actual excision costs, as we can’t determine exact costs until we receive pathology results) when you return for:

  • Wound review with our practice nurse
  • Removal of your stitches
  • To see your GP for results of your skin lesion removal
